Why do .eu and .gr domain names not need ID protection?

Regarding .eu domain names, your private information is shown on the WHOis search results, only if you have entered data in the "Organization" field during your registration. Just leave the "Organization" field blank, in order to protect your private information.

If you have entered information in the "Organization" field during registration, but don't want to have your private information shown, you can email us from the domain owner's email address at support@web-artdesign.gr with the request "I do not wish to have my personal information shown on domain WHOIS search results, since I am a physical and not a legal person". Our Support Team will then process your request.

.gr domain names do not need the ID protection service, since all private information is protected by the Greek government and is not allowed to be shown on WHOis search results.
